With over 28 years of experience, Somchai has served businesses across industries such as oil & gas, energy, manufacturing, retail, and hospitality.

As Head of Audit & Assurance at HLB Thailand, he helps clients meet audit obligations while guiding them through accounting standards. His expertise includes working with large publicly listed companies and navigating regulatory requirements from Thai and international bodies, including the Thai SEC and the PCAOB in the US.

Somchai received an MBA, from Sasin Institute of Business Administration, Chulalongkorn University and holds a bachelor’s degree in Accounting from Chulalongkorn University.

คุณสมชายมีประสบการณ์มากกว่า 28 ปี ในการให้บริการแก่ธุรกิจในหลากหลายอุตสาหกรรม ได้แก่ อุตสาหกรรมน้ำมันและก๊าซ พลังงาน การผลิต ค้าปลีก และธุรกิจโรงแรมและการบริการ (Hospitality)

ในฐานะหัวหน้าฝ่ายตรวจสอบบัญชีของบริษัท เอชแอลบี ออดิท (ประเทศไทย) จำกัด เขามีบทบาทช่วยให้ลูกค้าสามารถปฏิบัติตามข้อกำหนดด้านการตรวจสอบบัญชี พร้อมทั้งให้คำแนะนำด้านมาตรฐานการบัญชี ความเชี่ยวชาญของเขาครอบคลุมการให้บริการแก่บริษัทมหาชนขนาดใหญ่ และการดำเนินงานให้สอดคล้องกับข้อกำหนดด้านกฎระเบียบจากหน่วยงานของไทยและต่างประเทศ รวมถึงสำนักงาน ก.ล.ต.และ Public Company Accounting Oversight Board (PCAOB) ของสหรัฐอเมริกา

คุณสมชายสำเร็จการศึกษาระดับปริญญาโทบริหารธุรกิจ (MBA) จากสถาบันบัณฑิตบริหารธุรกิจศศินทร์ จุฬาลงกรณ์มหาวิทยาลัย และปริญญาตรีบัญชีจากจุฬาลงกรณ์มหาวิทยาลัย
