Thailand’s real estate industry came together on 18 September 2026 for the 21st PropertyGuru Thailand Property Awards, held at Dusit Thani Bangkok under the theme “Defined by Excellence.” The annual awards recognised outstanding developments and industry leaders across residential, commercial, hospitality, mixed-use and design sectors.

HLB Thailand served as the Official Supervisor of the awards, supporting an independent, fair and transparent selection process. HLB Thailand’s supervisory role was led by Paul Ashburn, Co-Managing Partner and member of the HLB International Real Estate Group, together with Sakanphon Fueangwong of HLB Thailand Audit & Assurance Services.

Celebrating Excellence Across Thailand

The 21st edition brought together leading developers, architects and property professionals from across Thailand, with approximately 60 award categories recognising developments in Bangkok, Phuket, the Eastern Seaboard, Hua Hin, Southern Thailand and other emerging markets.

This year’s awards also reflected the changing priorities of the real estate sector, with recognition extending across areas including branded residences, wellness-focused living, student accommodation, multigenerational housing, and specialised design for marina and oceanview developments.

Among the highlights of the evening, HLB Thailand’s Co-Managing Partner, Paul Ashburn, had the honour of presenting four awards recognising outstanding developments across Thailand

• Best Luxury Mixed Use Development (Bangkok) – Origin Thonglor World by Origin Property PCL.
• Best Luxury Mixed Use Development (Phuket) – Layan Verde by Villacarte Group
• Best Hotel Development – Canopy by Hilton Bangkok Sukhumvit by LLAN Asset
• Best Office Development – AIA Connect by AIA Thailand

Paul’s participation at the awards ceremony reflects HLB Thailand’s continued involvement in supporting the integrity and credibility of the PropertyGuru Thailand Property Awards.

Honouring Leadership and Vision

The 2026 awards also recognised individuals who have made significant contributions to Thailand’s property sector.

The Life Achievement Award was presented to Charoen Sirivadhanabhakdi and Family, led by Wallapa Traisorat of Asset World Corporation, recognising their enduring contributions alongside TCC Group.

Chanavat Uahwatanasakul, President and Chief Executive Officer of Central Pattana Public Company Limited, received the Real Estate Personality of the Year award, while Proudputh Liptapanlop, Executive Director of Proud Real Estate Public Company Limited, was recognised as the Rising Star.

The Changemaker Award went to Ratchayud Nunthachotsophol, President of AP (Thailand) Public Company Limited.

The awards also included the People’s Choice Awards, recognising ten leading property companies selected through public voting held from 3 to 16 August 2026.

Looking Ahead to the Asia Property Awards Grand Final

Winners from the Thailand Property Awards will have the opportunity to progress to the PropertyGuru Asia Property Awards Grand Final, taking place on 11 December 2026 at The Athenee Hotel, a Luxury Collection Hotel, Bangkok.

The Grand Final will bring together award-winning developers and projects from across Asia, providing a regional platform to celebrate excellence in the property industry.
